Britannia - Birth of a Locomotive was published by Irwell Press in 1991 ISBN 187160821X and details the rationale behind the design and introduction of the well known BR class 7 mixed traffic locomotive.

It should be noted that there are slight signs of the odd page having been stuck together in the past but I do not consider that this detracts from the overall good condition of the book and is reflected in the price bearing in mind one is listed on ABE as I write (Nov 2009) for £65.
